Loves Storm

The storms are raging, wildly, madly out there in the night
Rain is lashing down, driven ahead, hurled by howling winds
Here, wrapped in lovers warmth, glowing, feeling so right
Lightening flashes to lime our bodies in light, close interlocked
In lovers ancient and eternal dance in burning passions light

The storm, we ride this night, as we do, will do over again
Is the storm of passions flaring flames, loves ever true power
To find such endless joy, to soar higher, faster once again
We become one with the power that teases, tempts taunts us
Lifted on to a different plane, where there's only us, no gain

Heat erups from you to me, and flames of passion seer and burn
Hotter and higher, faster and further, our spirits, souls flow
Like rivers of molten love flowing, pour to take their own turn
Loves benediction, at the alter of delight we take our vows
As passions own simple student I humbly wish, ask to learn

Loves own truth we share, passions lessons I at last comprehend
Each time expecting that the raindow's end has been reached
Discovering delightfully, amazingly that there will be no end
As these flames sink back to a delicious, gently glowing simmer
Ah! This, loves heat and light, we give to our souls to amend

Marsha

I believe in the 4th line it should be line our bodies,
Although, I might be able to use that Lime our bodies
phrase in something a touch darker in nature.

A well crafted poem, a bit long of line,
But done well.
The long lines give it an older feel.

Enjoyed the Read

Charisma, I love a Love Storm, it cleanses the soul. This was actually inspired by SEA's Storm Within and Mark's The Storm. So many thanks to them both.

Whispers Caress, I agree, a storm with all those dramatic lightening flashes and rolling thunder. Delicious glad you liked it

Pepper, Mmmm it is isn't it, a perfect way to ride out a storm
As for the heat, perhaps this should be called my fire storm.

Dee Oh love, so you like? Well it was you who said I was Ms Inspired lately. Actually I agree with you, but maybe, it's because I'm scribbling so much that some of it has got to be okay.
Anyway thanks love
Take care            Bubbles

Marsha,
Storms of love are very mind-refreshing. Great write, well done.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

I read this last night and could have sworn I replied to it.  I guess I got lost in the storm, but oh what a storm to get lost in.  Truely one of your best my friend and president.  Now, who would complain of a storm such as this?

Daniel, very refreshing, for the body and the soul. I'm glad you like this, I think it's all the storms we've been having here. No I know whom is causing them and I don't complain a bit.

Mark my friend, truly I thank you, actually I agree with you, if I'm going to be lost and lashed by a storm what better storm could I ask for. It's all the dramatic lightening and thunderbolts, it just seems to bring other things to mind. Mmmm there now my minds flown off again, gone off to seek shelter or to stir up another storm.
