I wait for the night to come so that I may feel your touch. I wait to feel you gentle kisses and hear your soft sighs. I wait to feel the man that you are within the woman that is me. I wait for the tide to rise and fall within us both. I wait to lie in the arms of love. On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. |

Gentle Spirit, I am mining the forums today for poems that had reletively few replys. Yours was the first golden nugget I found. So eloquent and simple an expression of such a basic need. Something we all await. Sadly some for a lifetime. |
