Yesterday's Dream The golden dream of yesterday Still lingers for tommorrow From its desire, the longing breeds Contentment we can borrow I little place within the heart That’s still is void the sorrow But for today, I’ll live each hour By predetermined scheme Now and then a wishful eye Upon horizon’s gleam Those silver streaks on mountains edge Reflecting off my dream For every dream that has come true Was born of fascination And better than the dream itself Is heart’s anticipation Remains of bygone fantasy Can still spark pure elation Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 11-02-2000).] |

Nothing is better than a dream, except for when it becomes reality. Love your poem |
