Misty night
How the moon seems to shine
Through the veil
I see your loving eyes

Though she’s not here
I’ll always love her
Even if it’s through
The eyes of another.

Shifting sands
How the memories seem to move
Across my mind
I’m still holding you

Though she’s not there
I’ll always love her
Even if it’s through
The arms of another

Tender Rose
Blooming softly in the light
Lips so sweet
Pressing close to mine

Though she’s not there
I’ll always love her
Even if it’s through
The kiss of another

Don’t know why
Things turn out the way they do
Don’t know why
It’s not me there holding you
Don’t know why
It’s him looking in your eyes
Don’t know why
There’s no answer I can find.

Though you’re not there
I’ll always love you
Even though it’s through
The love of someone new.
