I'm sorry I didn't know the page colour had changed to give your eyes a rest. If you really do want to read this can I ask you to go to the other poem of the same name.
Thank you

You Don't Want To Go To The Devils' Ball

This day, today, it's a strange one to be sure
This night is the night. Ah! You want to know more?
Well this day 'tis known as all hallows eve
When strange tales are told or so I believe
It's said that this night the dead can awaken
And the souls of the wicked can be, and are taken

This one night the witches won't sleep in their bed
They'll take to the air on their broomsticks instead
With shrieks and loud screams they will mass and fly
To their witches hide-a-way across the blackened sky
These witches familiars set up an almighty brawl
As all things loathsome to their masters will crawl

The dead will creep from thier coffins this night
And dance with the devil in the silver moonlight
Those souls that are lost and seeking some release
Will cry to each other begging and calling for peace
The ghouls and the spooks will join in the throng
Ready and able to wail and screech in their own song

So this night whilst in your cosy bed you sleep
Don't be tempted to rise and take even a small peep
Those witches will know exactly who and what you do
They'll swoop from on high, and they will capture you
The dead as they dance will rattle their poor old bones
And your soul, as it suffers, will most surely moan

Just you listen to my friendly and very sage advice
You really wouldn't wish to pay the Devils price
For watching the dances of these creatures from hell
The price of the ticket? Ah! It's your soul you'll sell
So you just go back to sleep, don't peep out at all
Trust me, you don't want to witness the Devils' ball

Mushy Marsha

Okay, that's it!!!  I am cancelling my flight and waiting til tomorrow to go. LOL...what a spooky write from you my friend.  What did you have to drink last night?  Wouldn't happen to have been thick red and sort of salty now would it?

Elizabeth, that's right love you stay inside.
Booo
               Watch out behind you!
SEA, spooky calling, Oooh ahhhh!
Sorry I didn't realise the pages had changed colour.
Glad you like this one, although I don't think I do scary that well. It's because I'm so Mushy.
Be good love, but not too good!!

Mark, well funny you should ask! Mmmmm it was sort of the salty, but........ well I'd better not say any more or I'll find myself kicked into the adult poetry.
Anyway I do believe Cowboys have a special exemption from hexs and spooks, or I could offer you one of my spells. (At a special rate for friends,) they're guarantied to keep you safe from any spirits, that don't come in a bottle.
Take care

Kethry, thank you love, I appreciate it I do. Well at least that's it over for another year, now all I have to worry about is whether there are any little devils waiting for me as I go home tonight.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Alan, I'm glad you liked this little attempt of mine. Thank you for reading, I do truly thank you.
Take care
