Share Your Gift

The time has come from all you have learned
For you to share all the things that you have yearned
The gift is you and all that resides within your soul
All the trials and tribulations that have taken their toll

This is where all this care with you has been driven
This is why the love bestowed upon you has been given
You now know the strength that is encased in your being
As you begin your new life; finally, for the first time seeing

You have been taught how to love and to let one love you
You have reached the pinnacles of stars from honesty's view
You hold within your heart the power of tomorrow's glow
So go and teach all the lessons of love you have come to know

There is "one" residing within the reach of your beautiful wings
Sharing the garden where the heart of the butterfly so often sings
Trust in the heart within you and the one so close at your side
Love to learn and learn to love with the one in which you reside

There are the stars of that one night in which we forever hold
The story of two becoming one kissing warmth from eyes so cold
Poured forth from salted tears resting on that deck in luna's light
We forever touched as soul-mates were joined in that forgiving night

Mark, this is a beautiful sharing of your heart and faith.
unselfish and unconditional love given allows the receipiant to grow in their own light..
the bonds and strength found in those bonds
will remain always ... a gift of the heart is forever.
your heart has given many gifts
you shine in your own light as well.
see your self thru our eyes and know

You never fail to amaze me with the beauty of your words.  Saying well done doesn't say enough.

(Just so you know.. I couldn't see the graphics on the page.. I'm sure it would have added to the poem.. even though it is beautiful as is)

Mark* This poem and your heart are amazing...I could not leave this place without replying to this poem and making it known beyond a shadow of a doubt that the gift you speak of here had to be given by an angel and kissed by the stars before it could be passed on to anyone else...
How do you thank an angel....
This is a beautiful show of all the gifts you hold in your heart and soul...you pour them out so freely and I hope that you see as Janet said through our eyes how amazing you are.  Love to you my friend~

Mark this is a real star, as are you. You have a gift that far outshines the lights of heaven, and I thank you for letting me read these wonderful beautiful words. Time after time your work is a beacon of excellance, even among such luminaries as reside here. This is beautiful, stand up and take a bow.

OK, Mark - this is how it works, just so you will know next time.  I write all the good male stuff, and you just respond.  I'm sick and tired of being shoved aside by these great poems.  Remember - from now on, I'm supposed to look good, so you just tone it down a lot and I'll be perfectly happy - lol.  In other words...

Great poem, Mark.

I normally thank everyone individually but please allow me this one exception as I say thank you to you all at once.  You all know what you mean to me and some of you I have the pleasure of knowing better than others but that in no way makes anyones comments less special than the next.  This was written for two people that need to know that I am rooting for them and for one well I care very deeply about.  So thank you so much to all of you for reading and replying as you always do.  Now one quick note for that one special butterfly out there.  I will forever cherish the cocoon you left with me as you spred your beautiful wings and fly away.  Never has there been a more beautiful butterfly anywhere.

Mark, the things you share with all of us are so beautiful. And the message here is inspirational. (Like the twinkling little stars, too)
My only question, what if you have all this inside to share, and want so badly to give, and the one you are trying to give it to tosses it back in your face?
Regrouping is tough..But these are words to live by.
Peace.
Sandra
