Listening to every heart

The Mirror of Thine Eyes

'tis it right for poet's or artist's eye
that which takes up and within a scene
or are we to discern that all reality
is just a fabrication of your dream

do we see with our heart and spirit blithe
those words to share as we hear it light
sung within our soul, this song sublime
and give it cause to come in rhyme

would with thee I inhabit such delight
if I were to eye thee so in candle's light
to mirror in me your satisfaction just
in that thee would see this reflection of trust

now please Sire, see, in these eyes of green
this, thy trust I have, this, thy love, serene
this, my heart for you, and this thy passion's flame
all of which abides, is in your reality's dream

O do please share with me the twinklings
of these thy spirits that roam in your dreams

My friend, if I were to share my dreams with you of my faceless dream mate, you would be wisked away on the tail of comets and taken on a ride through the outer reaches of the heavens.  You would see unicorns playing in fertile fields of moss and dragon slayers riding the stallions of white to rescue their love in the nick of time.  There would be the clash of lightning with every kiss and the roar of thunder with every surge of passionate release.  Are you so sure that you would want me to share my dreams on the blue pages with you now.

Excellent write....loved the images of reflected souls in this one.

O Karilea,
this is such a splendid work... I can't help but read this so many times over and feel a surge of huge envy taking over me each time....

If only I could write as this....

Sudhir

Kari, this is even better than the best, utterly divine love, utterly beautiful. It's form shines, the words are like jewels each perfect of and in themselves, which together are simply stunning. I really love this one Kari, it's lovely.
Take care
