Listening to every heart

With Laser Light

what more can we ask for
as laser light c-d's are popped
into play
computer screen light
is the foray
of words to set to music's strain
and thoughts of you
come again

printer sits there with green light ready
to capture words of weave
to make the heart heady
and to leave the wine
behind

tap tap click click do the words implore
that I would wish to hear
a knock on the door
or would I just as well be left alone
to work and edit so that these
words and words alone
could atone

for the deeds left undone
for the song left unsung
for the bells that have not rung
for the photos left unhung

for what I have not yet become

in this laser light world

Yep, a song for sure Karilea....I was tapping my foot, tapping the keys, and getting all confused ~ as I can't walk down the street and chew bubble gum at the same time! Great poem. Bonnie

Kari, this is superb, excellant, and I love it. Now as for getting the beat right, I know I'm out of step, I'll just have to try to stay sort of within the tempo. Love this, I really do
Take care

Sunshine, an interesting format lends itself well to this idea of being undone. I enjoyed your approach to this theme. Thank you ~

Set the song to music because music will last to eternity.  Loved this one much and yes it leaves much to ponder in afterthought.
