"Love's Mirror"

Embraced by solemn
sacred pledge
each whisper cut
a bevelled edge

Each murmer shared
between our lips
cast silvered sheet
on fingertips

And framed within
sweet tinted trust
reflections of two
hearts were thrust

As deep in dreams
of azure blue
I looked upon
myself in you

Rainydays...this is such a great poem with some wonderful moments in it:

Each murmer shared
between our lips
cast silvered sheet
on fingertips

This image struck me in particular.

Thanks for the read

Rainydays, this is poetry. Old Balladeers can ramble on but I think the pure poetry is taking a minimum amout of words and making each one count to produce the desired effect. You have dome this here in a very admirable way.....I salute you, my friend
