The water is warm and inviting, It hugs you like an old friend. Comfortable. Turquoise in color it laps at the sand, Curling waves break into foam, White and creamy, you can almost taste its richness. In the shallows a rainbow flashes by As a school of fish twists through the currents. Each receding wave leaves a treasure behind. A smooth pebble, perhaps a shell. The skies are clear and blue. They go on forever. Palms stand behind you, Guarding your paradise, Offering sanctuary from the sun, In its welcoming shade. Soon the sun will set. Colors of orange and pink will paint the skies, Like trails of torn silk draping the horizon. The night will be clear and bright Lit by a million heaven held candles. As the night fades into a gold hued dawn, You make a last wish on a star. And wish you could stay here forever. |

That was beautiful, I pictured myself there. ---------------- Soon the sun will set. Colors of orange and pink will paint the skies, Like trails of torn silk draping the horizon. The night will be clear and bright Lit by a million heaven held candles. ---------------- Loved those lines. Much love all, Krissie ~*Those words...
