Will you be able to forget?
She put her hand on me
Will you keep harping on regret
Blinding what you see.

And even though I’m not at fault
Will it be you're only thought
Can all the things we learned from this
Deter from all we’ve fought

Can this be what we thought it was
A love to build so strong
Or is it simple passion
Confused by things gone wrong.

I only ask to have the chance
To find if this is true
No other way to really know
The answer lies in you.

Rich...yer quite lovely, y'know that?
and I agree with Coco...just whispers "what ifs".  A thoughtful piece here.  and a sweet dream...I think I'm getting sleepy, very sleepy...grin.

Rich...sigh...this speaks of such sadness and regret...what ifs? yes...but also a letting go of a dream that couldnt be.

enjoyed reading it, ..and also the if's came through for me....more a question for yourself maybe....I mean....sound if you are self not quite sure about it...

but if the if's....all work out good for you....than your love becomes stronger.

((hugs))

Oh my...

I would also like to know. I think so many of us have been in that position.

"Leaning on the space that lies between,
afraid to say or do.
Wanting the words, the taste.
Wanting the move to be made by you."

Sometimes it's safer to wait for them to make a move, but does it really hurt less?
Beautiful poem, nonetheless. (Is that really one word, I honestly don't know?)

Much love all,
Krissie
