love should be enough it's enough to make you laugh and enough to make you cry it's enough to make you walk that path and enough to touch the sky love should be enough it's enough to make you strong and enough to make you weak it's enough to make you write love songs and enough to let you seek love should be enough it's enough to make you old and enough to make you young it's enough to make you warm when cold and enough to have some fun love should be enough it's enough to make you take and enough to make you give it's enough to make you hurt and break and enough to let you live love should be enough it's enough to make your nights and enough to make your days but it wasn't enough to keep your light and it wasn't enough to make you stay love should be enough ------------------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Sven you've did it again! This is very beautiful right from the start, in me often I think that way but I guess sometimes I long for more that just the words being said, for some people I guess it comes natural for me there is passion and fire behind the words so not so easily said without the heart, yes love should be enough but is love being carried and nurtured along the way getting the attention it always craves? Of course I could go on and on, because sometimes I feel love isn't enough. |

Love is enough for some, but for others, well they want things like knowing your every move, taking care of your bank account, etc. Love is enough as long as it isn't a strangle hold! Good poem, sir. |

Excellent, Sir Sven! If everyone's love came with honesty and respect (those are my own personal "biggies"), then it WOULD be enough. Sadly, everyone's definition seems to differ and that is where the problems lie. Take me as I am or watch me as I go |

I guess - It's a example of "there's love - and then there's love" - the trick is inn recognizing which you're getting when what you're giving is total - Beautifully sadly written - I wish you well - believe better days are coming |
