        Thank you

Thank you from this one who touched
a baby's skin it meant so much
and all your prayers from round that swirled
have blossomed beautiful a family's world
***

I know that most of you are aware of the baby that received so many prayers recently.  Her name is Andrea Christina.  She is the grandchild of one of my employees at the flower shop.  I wrote two poems about her and received many heart-felt replies and prayers and Mark Bohannan wrote the prayer that overflowed with more loving thoughts and prayers.

The mother of the baby, Paula Edmondson, has written a little note that she would like me to post with her thanks.  I am also posting a picture of the baby and her grandmother, Christina.

Here is the note:

"The Edmondson family would like to thank all of those who have put our daughter in their thoughts and prayers.

God has blessed our family with wonderful people like all of you who supported our needs and gave blessings to our child.

May God bless your families as he has blessed ours.

Current update as of Oct. 24, 2000:  Her weight is 3lbs. 12oz. and she has been breathing on her own for 5 days.  Her feeding went up to 38 cc's.  She's well on her way back home!"

Such a wonderful blessing indeed and she is as beautiful as all the angels holding her.  I am so happy that she is doing better and the prayers have never stopped and shall not.  What a wonderful miracle of God this little one is.

When angels sing ...
God hears their voices
breathed on prayers from the heart ...
and then He performs yet another miracle.
We thank him for this child.

Martie-
   ***big smile on this face***
God DOES answer prayers, and little
Andrea Christina is proof of that
and of miracles.  She is so beautiful.
Rest assured the prayers continue for
   this precious little girl.

Typing through tears of joy, I am so grateful to God that Andrea is doing better!  So tiny and fragile, and so many prayers went up for her - and thank you, Martie, for bringing her here to this most unlikely place for a prayer meeting, which it has felt like to me - but God is here - and God is with Andrea and her family - and I am grateful.

P.S. What a precious little jewel!
