Pacing to and fro Completely out of control Clenching hands to fists Gritting of teeth Nails dig in, blood wells forth No surcease is found Pain is constant and alive Battering soul to the ground Can't go on like this Thoughts chaotic swirl around Carrying you away You turn and rend Feathers float on the air Pillow torn in two Nothing helps, what to do Screaming silent in the air Down in the pit No hope anywhere... Blackness of despair. Won't go on like this Peppermint Life is a Wheel |

Peppermint35, this is a prickly write, I felt your anger and despair. Hope it's not real for you. Excellent writing! Be well Kethry Growth demands a temporary surrender of security. Gail Sheehy |

It was real at the time I wrote it, but things are better...poetry for me is better than any therapy I've ever found Peppermint Life is a Wheel |

I been there too...all of us have. Ron Tears, salted and bitter, well up and flow. Anger, a flame of rage, smolders and grows. Thoughts, flicker of betrayal, because your secrets, all will know. Time, As it trudges on, will allow these feeling to finally go |
