to look upon an angel's disguise ... a summer's stroll down water's way the view i seek eludes the day 'til flowing satin sash i see begs my stare unabashedly along pond's edge she stands alone my leisured pace takes a quickened tone nuzzled lavender in her hands her hair awash with sun-touched strands as she breaths the sweet flower’s bloom my look upon her form to soon for as i approach this angel's lair my rush upon her sends a scare away she flies to heaven's gate as lightening seeks a tree's quick break left behind for me to ponder will i recall my sight to squander the day my stroll opened closed eyes to look upon an angel's disguise M.A. Miller 10.18.00< !signature--> My calling before me, let quill be my offering; For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.
