She tells me it’s over. I cringe at the words. Like nails on a blackboard. I ask about all the time we’ve invested. Was it all a waste? Like sand slipping through fingers. She says she not sure. She just doesn’t know. Like moving a mountain. I say we must try. It must take more effort. Like swimming upstream. OK. She says, one more try. I draw her close. Like a moth to the flame. |

My heart sighs for this one!!! Why must love be such a battlefield??? This is very well done; captures just how it feels (for I know, only too well). Peppermint Life is a Wheel |

I have mixed emotions about the battles of love...I think the final determination is happiness...if two stay together and fight it out will happiness follow or must the relationship end to find happiness...in effect the relationship is the cause of the unhappiness...if one doesn't really want to be there or work on the relationship they can make life miserable for the other..I know i've been there and done that..hoping you will both find happiness together or apart...James |

Ron-This is beautiful, not knowing where love will take you can be scary, but intriguing as well, nicely done. |
