I Dream

Placebo's in the sun and snow
Forever dun where e'er I go
Wink and crow in subtle sew
Catch me under mistletoe.

Plays upon my mind and knees
Intoxicates with mocking ease
Rises me and sets me down
Sets a dunce cap as a crown.

Peck my flesh in daily toll
Taking chunks out of my soul
And eats away by acid drip
In sands of time each one way trip.

I curse the dragons fiery blow
The pendulum that swings for poe
The blade descends each sweep in tend
It creeps and sweeps my death and end.

Placebo's hold my mind like prey
And sings I promise you, each day.
