I observe the past with sight-less eyes
and see patterns that repeat
I compose a symphony for one
and march madly to it's beat
I live my life as futilely
as time itself allows
The cradle that's supporting me
rests snug amongst the boughs

I dance blindly through the mine-fields
of all my past mistakes
without a care or backward glance
at what's left in my wake
I am the crowning glory of
all evolutions forms
The branches of the tree of life
will shield me from the storm

All who have gone before me
only served to fill my needs
surely I'm deserving of
the excess of my greed
Behold the wonder that is me
so perfect and complete
From the cradle of my priveledge
I am prepared to meet

The wind that fans misfortunes flames
in bonfires at my back
As the cradle's weight from gross neglect
bends bough 'till it must break

Dr. Moose!  My crown falls to the ground as I bow before your perfect words.  So much more praise you deserve... what fools those who pass by without retort to your greatness.  This is truly a jewel that all should see... so back to the top you go.  Peace!
