You Asked...Here's Your Answer Amy M. Kennedy I use to feel that magic and fate were just beyond my grasp And that true happiness was locked up in a necklace And I didn't have the key that opened up the clasp I've led a happy life, please don't misunderstand Seen rainbow skies and sunny days But I didn't know true love That didn't occur until I touched your hand You've opened up my soul Showed me the light of true love And everyday I thank my lucky stars And our Savior the Lord above You ask why do I love you, and not someone else There are so many reasons, I couldn't just name one But I'll begin with your my soul-mate With you my life's just begun The smile in your voice, the touch of your hand The way your face lights up when I tell a joke The way you always seem to understand The strength of your love, my guarded walls it broke It's the sound of your laugh The feel of your touch The light in your eyes, they all serve to remind I've never loved so much So many reasons darlin' that I love you so When I'm with you...I hear the Angel's sing And I think it's time you know You are the wind beneath my wings You placed your hand into mine My heart you captured from the start And everyday I love you more I pray we never part Forever I shall love you, I won't ever stop You complete me in ways I thought impossible, take my breath away And till the ends of time By your side and in your heart I shall forever stay. Amy, This was just lovely. What a soft heart you have written with here my friend. Very nice. Here is to hoping you never have to let go.
