The days are getting longer
Like never ending beams.
When I look out my window,
All I see are hopeless dreams.
Off in the sunset is where I want to be.

The paths are getting longer
Winding are the roads.
Every day is a mystery
To the next place I go.

Finally I see
An ending up ahead.
Where will this road take me?
Many wonders lie ahead.

With no fear in my eyes
And trust in my heart,
I take my first step
and pray to God that it's right.

Yep, sometimes we just have to take that step, hoping that it is the right one! Very good!

Holly--

excellent piece! life is full of many bends and twists...each step leads us to a new place. sometimes it's scary but as you have so wonderfully penned here...trusting in one's self is the 1st step to move onward and upward.

"Finally I see

With no fear in my eyes
And trust in my heart,
I take my first step

YOU said it! Excellent. Take care.
