Heavens on fire
waiting for the light to change
wasting my desire
for the time in my life
to turn over again
so I can see my all
everytime I move around
the light holds my pulse.
Heavens on fire
hoping for the chance to move
she silks in next to me
with the power of the universe
taking my lips to fire
as my heart begins to burst
with the eyes of destiny
she closes my hurt.
Heavens on fire
waiting for the light to change
all of our desires
bring us to love again
the passion of the moment
sparks from the touch
of lips upon lips
it's really not asking much.
