My Music Noodling over piano keys In a new age sort of way Chords merging and blending On a beautiful autumn day Strains of sevenths and minors Resolving to majors they say Then celestial notes from the string pour And it's you that I hear them play Playful laughing notes out of the keyboard Jazzy with a hint of pure classical Passionate feelings abounding Every note just purely lyrical ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

always have liked the word "noodling..." and I can picture noodling over the piano...I've been known to do it myself...in that "new age" way from long ago... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?...KRJ |

Karilea- sometimes it comes out pure 'blues' other times like variations on September Song - but I guess it's always me - Thanks |

Play what is in the heart of your emotions and feelings at the time. That is where the most beautiful music comes from anyway, but I am sure you are aware of that. Wonderful read, thank you. |

Bill...noodling...can you eat those or is the taste too sharp or really flat?? I must cook me up a batch on my old upright, now if I could just figure out how to light the thing. Loved the poem! |

Mark- I play practically nothing from memory anymore - a talent I had as a child - that seems to have left me almost totally now - but i can play chord progrssions - and "noodle" melodies above and below them. I assume what I'm doing is from my 'heart' - Thank you Martie- They come in two varieties - with and with egg yolks - I tend to imagine the 'without' as being more 'flat' and vice versa Thanks ~G~ suthern- sometimes I must rely on reading music -until muse come back ~thanks |
