and she dreams... of distant kisses wishing they were near while he speaks of dances beneath the stars with lovers words sincere she cannot know the thoughts that tumble save for those he lends she tries to restain the flutter, the stutter-- she knows the rules she bends and he dreams... of distant kisses and winks without a word subtle suggestions carry his clues and he hopes that she has heard longing fills them with each line as they pen with poets hue passion's kiss near fatal miss a dream to tell--it was you... -dgvarner 10-20-00 3am < !signature--> my soul is painted like the wings of butterflies...fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die...i can fly--my friends -Queen [This message has been edited by dgvarner (edited 10-20-2000).] |
