 A true friend does not offer judgement when you need someone to be there They don’t give condemnation when you need someone to care A true friend doesn’t take when you need someone to give They don’t hand you a death wish when you only want to live A true friend doesn’t turn when you need someone to see your heart They don’t plug their ears when your anquished cries start A true friend doesn’t ask why instead they give the quiet comfort you need They won’t walk away and leave you alone as the wolves come out to feed A true friend doesn’t save the best for last and leave you without They don’t let silence swallow you instead they’ll lend a voice to shout A true friend doesn’t look beyond heart and soul to see what’s there They don’t let you wonder how they feel but tell you that they care A true friend doesn’t need to agree to accept you for who you are They make sure you always know where to find them and are never very far A true friend is nothing less than everything you need them to be They are the ones that are clapping and smiling as you are set free I give you all these things as you’ve given all this to me and more I hear you as you ask why.....because...that’s what a true friend is for |

Holly, this is am amazing show of friendship and it just goes to show that what I see in you is truely there. You have penned the true meaning of friendship in this piece and I know that Amy will love you for it. You truely have a heart made of the purest gold my friend. |

Amy has always been a kind and gentle friend, offering her shoulder and friendship to me anytime I needed it...I just wanted to show her that the same goes for her from me. Holly~ no words could do the justice for the feelings i have in my heart this morning. i extend to you the warmest most sincerest thanks from the bottom of my heart. yes i am very lucky to have such a wonderful friend as you. i treat others how they treat me...and you my dear friend are at the top of my list of closest friends! your love, support, and understanding means more than you will ever know. i accept you as you are...and know in my heart that it is you who is the angel walking on this earth. from day one when we first met...i knew that you were special. the fact that you would honor our friendship and your feelings so openly like this proves that point! i guess what i'm trying to say is i love ya girlie and thank you so very much. you have made my week! and IF ever you should need anything...no matter how big or small do not hesitate to ask. you know where to find me. take care & love ya, ~amy~ p.s. to the rest of Passions...i know you all know how wonderful a person Holly is. Dear Amy* As I've said so many times to you during my days here at passions you landed in my heart with the wings of an angel and as you have shared your heart through your poetry I've watched you shine. I'm only the friend that you allow me to be and so for you to honor me with your comments only goes to further show my point that YOU sweet Amy-girl are an angel and as J.M. pointed out in your post...there is another angel that we know is very proud of you for your strength and courage to be true to yourself...I'm sure she's smiling today for you~ |
