How do I express my Love for thee With the miles that separate us How do I express my Love for thee With all who would berate us How do I express my Love for thee With us both betrothed to another How do I express my Love for thee For your children need their mother How do I express my Love for thee Some say I should not bother How do I express my Love for thee For my children need their father How do I express my Love for thee Two souls locked in torment How do I express my Love for thee If only for a moment How do I express my Love for thee I wish I could find out How do I express my Love for thee The one I live without |

Dakota, your words and nickname ring very close to home. May I ask if you ever lived in the Black Hills? E-mail me if you would. Hmm.. You're poem is very sweet. Looking forward to seeing more posted by you. Take care, Broken Winged Angel With a little piece of tomorrow, You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye. Because today won't last forever, And the past will only make you cry. |

a dilema of realty for many. Sometimes we have to just let love exist and find joy in the fact that it does, but as your poem expresses, this is not always easy Enjoyed the poem Liz |

How can I explain to thee Your love can be felt no matter how far How can I explain to thee To follow your heart and let others be who they are How can I explain to thee Betrothed to one doesn’t take away your love for another How can I explain to thee Their whole life long children will need their mother How can I explain to thee What one sees as life may be death to another How can I explain to thee Love doesn’t take children away from their father How can I explain to thee Two souls don’t have to live in torment How can I explain to thee Life’s short, happiness rare, cherish it every moment How can I explain to thee Love is very special and to take it day by day How can I explain to thee The one you live without, loves you in every way Just take the time to say it Sometimes words are all you need Your heart will find the ways To let true love succeed Dakota love can be expressed in so many ways. When you wrote this poem, you expressed it. Your longing shows through out. You already know ways of showing your love. Listen to your heart. kat |
