Oh, How I Love ~*Marge Tindal*~ The smile of a child whose cheeks are caressed in Grandma's worn hands. My day is blessed. The wag of the tail on a little mutt welcoming me home she continues her strut. A child now grown who looks back at me with the same 'little-boy' smile that used to be. The peal of the bell on the old church steeple calling to worship all of her people. The moon - so full of herself as she dances the sky while all the stars watch her prance by. One man's heart beating for me. Green eyes sparking for me to see. The heart of a friend who has known sorrow within and shared it with me as she did her joy. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
