I am not a wall, But not very pliable either. Maybe a soft mixture of something magical? Maybe... Not many people ever see it.. I'm not wordly Experienced inside and out And laden with cynicism, But I'm not completely positive either. Realistic perhaps? Maybe... But everyone thinks I'm just niave. I'm not usually one of the oldest in the group, And certainly not the wisest or most outgoing, Maybe just a little mature for my age? Perhaps... Now I'm just trying to slow down And act my age. So Why when I begin to act my age Do I begin to fade into the crowd again. Everyone thinks I'm just niave. Well.. I'm not, But I guess its my saving grace That everyone thinks so. Maybe I'm just a confusion within a confusion. If that makes sense? Right now I can't figure it out. Something is making me sad, And if anyone could understand what By reading my words.. I wish they could tell me, Because I just don't get it. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

Well written Temptress... the problem is that none of us understand... we only attempt to... |

So nice to see you, my friend.. I hope this means you're back in business?? ... and there's not necessarily any big deal about being worldly.. You are who you are - and that's special in itself.. |

Hey, girl! Wassappenin'??? Good to see you on the boards again... missed ya! My analysis of your thoughts here? umm... well... you're becoming aware of the journey... caught in the middle of who you were and who you are to become... that's all. Of course, who am I to say? But if that IS it, then... lemme tell ya... it's never ending because we are always 'becoming' and growing from someone and somewhere we were to somewhere we're going and someone we're going to be. Just a bit of philosophy. I think it all gets easier when you finally realize that you'll never be able to figure it out, and just enjoy the ride. *wink* Be well. Write, IM or ICQ sometime. Hope all is well at work and home. doreen |

Hi there. Thanks Nan, Doreen, and Mike for reading and responding. It will be a while before I get my computer back. Its at the computer doctor. Everyone say prayers...A moment of silence please. Doreen, I think I'm somewhere in between needing to assert myself and be more confident or be a babbling, cringing, shy background hugger for the rest of my life. The bright side is that I think I still have plenty of time to figure it out. Thanks for the thoughts. Nan, Worldy seems to be the way that people come out of their shells sometimes. Would someone please get a hammer and crack mine? Mike, I dont' even know if I can understand anymore, but I'm sure trying. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. I'm wondering if you found what you were looking for here. It seems that we all are looking for the same thing. Thank you. What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |
