Listen not to voices that speak only of lies and confusion,
their jealous haze shall neither taint nor fade this perfect and poetic illusion.
Deceit falls now on only deafened ears ...
this between us ... they cannot divide,
This unison of fate, sweetly entrusted ... shall not be questioned or denied.
Words of poison are to never again be recognized by these eyes of mine,
surrender be my salvation,
thy whispered devotion heard ...
thy words be divine.
Bound by common threads of love,
a tapestry laced with faith, trust, and desire ...
woven with golden strands of commitment and contentment ...
all things a heart does require.
Jaded eyes need now to only look away ... for they are blinded by our light,
as we breathe in the many pleasures of this gift ... absolution now in sight.
Though forces work to sow seeds of fear and doubt ...
no promises were ever broken,
hearts and souls entwined, the ties that bind grow stronger ...
the truth now so sweetly spoken.

Janet Marie

for my partner in rhyme,
as always, thank you for the inspiration.

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Janet,
Your partner in rhyme must be pretty special to inspire such beautiful words as these.

All my love,
Jeffrey

Beautiful words from a beatutiful heart.  Yes your partner in rhyme must be pretty special....for he has you   Through adversity and struggle love of the purest shall only deepen and remain stronger than it did when you began. **AW hugs and BF kisses** S.S. and it's wonderful to see your *smile* back again

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.
