Lost angels welcomes you . If only shadows spoke, I could ask my shadow, Where I’d been, And where I’m coming from, It could show me the mistakes I’ve made, I must have made more than some, How did I end up in this state, The sun shines shadows long, And what is this state I’m in anyway, It just all feels wrong, A sign I see, A guiding clue, To steer me right, A song, But the sign has one thing only, Written there upon, ‘The state of Los Angeles’ ‘Governed by lord major Tom’. Written by Tom Baker . With poetry as your weapon - express your iner feelings so all may carry your sorrow, united as one . |

Very interesting! I thought there for a minute, that you weren't literally talking "state", I thought "state of mind"....very cool how that worked well together! Does everyone in LA feel that way? LOL I believe this is the first work of yours I've read, I'll certainly look for more! |

Thanks to all of you, I thought of the idea for this when I was playing with the idea of the double meaning of state and was looking for a state that would give me the effect of coming to the end of a journey or a more spiritual place, and I saw the likeness between the words 'Lost angels' and 'Los Angeles' . I am glad you all liked it . The wheather her in Britain is quite good actualy . How is it there ? L.of.L. Tom . I know what you mean there, it feels like I am always traveling, I am hoping to get off this same darn motorway soon though, at least the country lanes are a little nicer, Happen to want to take over the wheel for a while, while ( double word score ) I catch my breath ? - No - ahhh well never mind, beter concentrate on the road again, Thanks .
