Wrapped in the love of you,
Hands lingering on your skin
Seeking refuge refusing to break their hold.
"Everlasting love" you whispered
I believe this, breathe this but I am so frightened to let go.
In your absence I return to that darkened room
Where you were conceived as a survival dream
to keep my hopes alive, to warm my heart from stone.
Drowning in your lips, you suck me deeper in
I am blind to the world, fragile angel in your palms
yours to cherish and pleasure extract and tenderly nurture.

Wrapped in arms of you, lulled to sleep
by the beating whispers of your heart.
Kiss your breast celebrate the hollow joy of flesh,
with you its meaningless flowers bliss.
Valentine oh Valentine never have I been naked
defenceless a doll of porcelain to be cherished or crushed,
stroking singing songs sorrow sways she's salvation.
Wrapped in your heart strings, wrapped in your flesh,
your love your soul. My shoulders once cold, inside once empty
my heart once lonely in you these tragedies subside.
Breathless and alive in you, dreaming for this to birth in reality.

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

Sir Brian of Madden thou hast indeed penned a song
Inspired by Meg Ryan movies, each just 2 hours long,
Sleepless in Seattle with it's cross-country magic
And You've Got Mail with it's Internet addicts.

Thy weapon of choice here was technically superior
A VCR!  Making our lances inferior!!
But thou has written such a poem so tender,
That it shall remain here so that all may enjoy this render.

Butterflies_dont_cry.... Well it was about time I exposed my sensitive side. Thank you for your wonderful response.

A Romantic Heart...oh I could not watch any more of those Meg Ryan movies lol, thank you for your wonderful reply.

Jan, if it pleases you and the cherub then I am happy. "love ya when your making us swoon," how knows the love ballads might be next, thanks for your kind words.

Kit thank you for your lovely reply.

Serenity...encores... I don't know...I always prefer to leave them wanting more (that sounded bad, good thing we are not in adult. Too many connotations lol).
thanks your wonderful reply.

Sven,
thank you for your response in verse
it was wonderful, curing my poetry thirst.
It is not easy watching those meg ryan things
they make you cry and pull hard on your heart strings, this the price for art, the pain to write verse. I shall thank you for your wonderful and funny response and leave
because this rhyming is such a curse

Beauty percieved, personified, Love with no strings attached....

What lines doth thou pen, Brave Knight Brian?
LOL , been reading too much of Sir Sven's words and

but great lines here......

Breathless and alive in you, dreaming for this to birth in reality.

.....

Much enjoyed this work from you...
sudhir.

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

Brian, amazing I bow to a master.... the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. Shame that thou should use a weapon so fierce, to defeat the mightiest foe, and woo the fairest maiden. Bravo.
