I totally got this one     eat this Sven

Essance Of Woman

A woman's face with nature's own hand painted,
Hast thou the master mistress of my passion,
A woman's gentle heart but not aquainted
With shifting change as is false woman's fashion,
An eye more bright than theirs, less false in rolling,
Gilding the object whereupon it gazeth,
A man in hue all hues in his controlling,
Which steals men's eyes and woman's souls amazeth.
And for a woman wert thou first created,
Till nature as she wrought thee fell a-doting,
And by addition me of thee defeated,
By adding one thing to my purpose nothing.
But since she pricked thee out for woman's pleasure,
Mine be thy love and thy love's use their treasure.

I WIN! I WIN!

   lol
if i don't win it was surely a rightous effort on my behalf.

GUARDS!!!  GUARDS!!!

Remove this "pretender" from the field!!
He dares think that the rest of us will yield?
He thinks that all it takes is some nerve
To win this joust of Knights?
He will see that it takes more than that to win
Remove him now, never to be heard from again!!

gabe_reiser, thou hast insulted this enlightened group of Knights with thy brazen taunts!!
This is to be a fight to the finish, one that thou will see from thy dungeon cell!!!

GUARDS!!!!   GUARDS!!!!!!

(Great poem by the way!!!  LOL)

Sir Sven, bring the real challenge on for this is tiresome.
Get your best knight and I will destroy him to kingdom-come.
For I will stand on the pedistle for the winner.
And by no means I am not a beginner.
Ley thy armor on the field for armor is a ban.
I will fight till I am the standing last man.

Sitting 'neath the shady tree
I watch the joust with such glee
these silly men, pens erected
seeking hearts to be connected.

good poem, milord!

Poet DeVine, I am glad you liked it.

Sir Sven, I may be new in town but I have always won a challenge and never lost,
For this challenge dost.

Prove our skills in poetry but not with pens.
I write it as it comes and without the presence of hens.

For I am a true poet, one who writith from thy soul and mind.
Thee will not sit in thy dungeon at all.
Thou will try and try to get thee to bind.
But thou best be prepared for a brawl.
