What a vacation!
Wonderful experiences
Renewing old ties
Celebrating milestones
Replenishing memory stock.

Away from the stress
And schedules so demanding
A time to be me
To stretch my wings and take flight
Obscuring the workplace blues.

A Time to refresh
To visit and learn new things
And if I am blest
To spend some quality time
With my ties past and present.

But oh how fleeting
These times we have to do such
Enjoy while you can
This is the stuff Life is made of
At least, the most cherished part.

Dear David; This wonderful poem tells it all, that you are having the best time! I am so happy for you, bro.
Maybe it's time to relocate? Have you considered that? Love, Sis
