The Future Ain't Bright |

Where is he now? You say he exists, But I ask you, how, Could he miss all of this? The deaths of his people, Isn't enough, To rebuild his steeples? Is it THAT tough? But you clench your bible, And drop to your knees. Thou claimst survival, Shall be cast on thee. But we're all gonna' die, And you should know that. I don't wanna' lie, But that's where we're at. When your crosses burn down, And your bodies decay. When there is no more ground, In which you may lay. No north, no south. What will you say, When you have no mouth, And there is no today? You'll wish they would give You this when you fall, Would you rather have lived, Or not live at all? I can't say I'm right, You can't say I'm wrong, But upon our blight, Please remember my song. The future ain't bright, And it isn't that long. |
