~The Rain~
Amy M. Kennedy

The memories play over again in my mind
The memeories of you and me
As the rain comes falling down
Ever so gently

With ever drop of rain
I remember your face
And I wish you were here
Your sweet beautiful grace

We made love to the rain
Oh what sweet ecstacy
Forever in you arms
I could lay...for all eternity

Remember the words we said
The words we still mean
When we held each other tight
This love is what it seems

The rain is falling
falling with a fierce intensity
And deeper I fall in love with you
Today forever always

"Fate exists but it can only take you so far,
Because once you're there
It's up to you to make it happen."

Beautifully done.

Amy,
This is very well done.  I particularly like the subject matter.  Rain is so often chosen to display sadness and longing and you have chosen to use it to be the desired subject.  To long for the rain if you will.

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.
