I'm sorry that the flow and story couldn't be better. Definitly not my best, but I wanted to try this form. 1000th Post Poem!!! “Because God has a Sense of Humour” And he used his “Hand of Fate” To gave me hope ”In Light of Love Above” So Passion’s “My Immortal Beloved” One of “ The Messenger’s of God” “But on Second Thought” I’ll put away my “Rose-coloured Glasses” Perhaps it is Passions “Legend” Or it’s “Love ‘s Potion” That gave me “ A Gift of Forever” Just like “Peas and Carrots” Yes, I do “Believe” “When All is Said and Done” And I have been “Wrapped in Rhapsody” I’ll wonder what I did “Before Love”? No more “Sting of the Thorn” Or “Faded Perfume” for me Just the Occasional “Trail of Tears” From “ This Little Light of Mine” “ My Heart Hopes”!!! Yes, in Passions, “When Love Finds You” Just take “ What Dreams May Come” Or you may “Reign the Rain” Or take a last “Kiss Before Dying” But shhhhh! “These Are the Things I’ve Never Said” Marina June 2000 [This message has been edited by Marina (edited 06-05-2000).] |

Congrats on the 1000 This is very creative, not a whole lot of poets could meld the titles of their poems into one piece and make it read this well. Very nice writing All my love, Jeffrey I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |

Marina~ Congrats on 1000 posts! That is quite an accomplishment in my book! Excellent poem you have here. Very creative and put together well. You had an awesome idea and I must say did very well with it. Take care. Amy "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." "Fate exists but it can only take you so far, Because once you're there It's up to you to make it happen." |

Thank you to all!!! When I wrote my first poem 4 months ago, I would never have dreamed of this! Sea and A L, Thank you both very much. Jan, thank you. I respect your work very much. So this coming from a wonderful poet and friend, I truly thank you. Jeff, thank you very much! I can always count on you to say the sweetest things to make me feel good. ( Give you the $5 tomarrow ) Lorraine and Amy, thank you. It seemed like a good idea at the time.....just wished it would have worked out better. Things so easily in your mind, just somehow never get to the paper right! Thanks again. Marge, thank you. I don't think I will ever be as good as you though! LW, thanks. I am glad you liked the idea. James, thank you, but I don't think you have to worry about me passing you. At least not as far as the quality of your poetry is concerned. Sven, thank you Marina |

Marina has finally done 1000..whoa..actually its not that hard...it only means sacrificing your social life and donating the services of your fingers to the keyboard for countless hours that never seem to end...ha...ha....isn't this sad but true...but we must get some enjoyment out of this because we come back for more. I will drink a few glasses of wine, with delicious cheeses and some french bread in celebration. I have to get away from this computer so I can go and buy that right now. Take care hon. James |
