A Complicated Kind of Love Laura M. Wells From the moment we kissed sheer bliss swept through me because I know I am no longer fooling myself you see I love you and you love me and that's the way it will always be Now that you and I feel the same, how much longer can we play this secret game? One year? Two? Three? Four? How many more? I would play for all eternity, to be wrapped up in your arms and seduced by all your charms However, I know our love cannot be, it is very complicated you see. |

I loved this poem! full of such love and longing. you my dear are caught in a hard place. i am sure the person you are in love with loves you very much in return. sometimes life isn't what it seems and the choices we make are very hard. i personally..would sacrafice it all for true love. but i am your ever hopeless romantic. great poem! take care, amy  "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. great poem. your write your emotions well and your confusion... sometimes things are not as complicated as they seem... once the shadows have been lifted things seem cleared... sometimes WE put higher expectations on our selves than others do. and the bottom line is those who TRULY love us..want us to be happy... once they know what we want..they want it for us too, it just takes time to work thru it all and accept the complications. Im living proof of it...and sometimes ya just gotta go with your heart and let others who are too wrapped up in expectations and worring about "society" find their own peace. we have to live our lives for our selves..not for others approval. but i do understand the fears and concerns. later, jm |
