The Rock’s May Have Something To Say I am here, I “exist” I seemingly need to hear this, portraying an angry bull I rush about looking for answers to the indifference’s to my reality’s. Going about in this state of upheaval, I ask all that pass my direction the childish question of why me, feeling sorry for myself knowing in my soul I have isolated myself from the understandings that lay before me. Maybe if I listen carefully to all that is around me and not just to the humans in my life I will hear that in which will make my soul rest from its weary trials. Perhaps a visit to natures realm will reveal the answers to the questions I ask. We are surrounded by pattern pieces that match together like lock and key, so even the rocks may have something to say. No Lilly toils and spins about for nothing, she has reason to dance, but no question of why does she ask. As humans we have put in the element of why never stopping long enough to just listen and feel the answers we are searching for. If I would just quiet myself the answers to my questions of life and the why’s will come to me naturally and without aimlessly spinning about in no certain direction. It may be faint, the answer but it is there, I must listen carefully, I might just hear something I need to learn. By, Cerenity |

Much can be said for waiting on answers instead of frantically and furiously persuing them... Often, we rush upon the wrong answers in doing such. "Silence is golden" - "patience is a virtue" - take your pick, there is merit to the sayings. Wonderful poem, Cerenity. Michael |

While searching for answers we often become distracted because we become so busy looking that we do not see. Maybe if I listen carefully to all that is around me and not just to the humans in my life I will hear that in which will make my soul rest from its weary trials. As humans we have put in the element of why never stopping long enough to just listen and feel the answers we are searching for. a wonderful poem, I think we all need to hear this message every so often. an excellent poem, well said. ------------------------ "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Hi Michael and Brian Life does not seem to want to slow down at all for me right now and my head seems to be spining to the point i'm dizzy, walking out side to see if I could breath it hit me I was looking in the wrong places for answers. I know i'm not looking in the right places but the very human stubburn side oh me insist on making everything hard I guess because it is easyer not to try. Thank you for your kind replys. Oh, sweet Cerenity~ Yes ... the silence offers up answers that have fled the noisy din of searching. As one who sits the Vision Quest in silence, I can tell you that - not only do the rocks speak ... the earth, the sky and all the elemental things that abide ... speak. We need only be quiet long enough to hear what they have to say. 'It may be faint, the answer but it is there, I must listen carefully, I might just hear something I need to learn.' Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! Love you, gal. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

A wonderful poem that we all can relate to. My life has also been hectic recently and it easy to forget to stop and wait for the answers. In our headlong pursuit of getting the answers we often overlook the answer itself. A very thoughtful poem thanks for sharing Steven Seaman To thine own self be true... |

I think sometimes we get so caught up in looking far ahead and measureing importance with big things, that we forget the lesson from the rock and the joy of one small minute. Thought provoking poem, Cerenity. |
