to look into your eyes is to risk the confusion from the look returned to breath your scent is to risk the oblivion in which i am taken to feel your warmth is to risk the pain from falling in love to speak your name is to risk the silence that will be returned to think your thoughts is to risk the atmosphere in which i am alone to be your friend is to risk the wall that is placed before me to miss your smile is to risk the tears that flow down my cheaks to dream your kiss is to risk the reality that you do not love me to want your love is to risk a promise that will never be kept |
