Ah, the piano
The moment I arrive
I sit on my bench
And I play...
Oh how I play!

The “Moonlight Sonata” is my favorite
Flowing through my fingertips
Like water from the falls
Like poetry from a pen

All the stress, the cares, the worries
Flow out with this beautiful piece
I paint pictures with my fingers

A beautiful night, filled with moonlight
Surrounds me, like a sweet dream
As I continue to play...
Oh how I play!

Whenever I need to get away
I can just sit down
And paint pictures with my fingertips
Pictures that could never exist
Without this beautiful music

It’s amazing what beauty we can create
Only playing another composer’s piece
Bringing back to earth, a life
That has been gone for years
Bringing to life
Notes from paper...

Ah, the piano...

LoveBug~
It is lovely to know you can bring the masters alive with a touch of the fingertips.
You make it sound so fullfilling.
That's the feelings I get when I play.
Keep playing, hon.
Love ya'

I love Moonlight Sonata - -never could
play some of that middle part, over my
piano playing skills ---)  My sister
plays it beautifully as I am sure you do.

I think everyone should play an instrument
at sometime in their lives.

Wonderful Poem ---

LB
this is a wonderful poem
and I envy you so..
I have always wished I could play the piano.
I know it would be so relaxing and calming.
take care, jm

I too, really enjoyed this LB.  And I too, have always wished I could play.  Even have one sitting in my living room, but all I've been able to accomplish is dream.  Thanks for the read.

LoveBug, this is beautiful...I want to learn how to play the piano.  I sing frequently and I'm in choir at my High School, but I think being able to play would add a whole other dimention to it...thanks for sharing this, I loved it!

Really like the title of this poem and the words express so well the beauty that comes from the appreciation of playing the piano.
~~well done~~
