A heart that was once so pure Is now consumed by anger Won't stop until I'm sure I am out of this danger Don't know which way to turn Since my head won't stop spinning It was a hard lesson to learn For me there is no winning Time to pick up the shattered pieces Of my torn up broken heart With the expiration of these leases Life gains a brand new start It's a wonder my heart beats After all this awful aching Of all the amazing feats To withstand the pain of breaking Wish I knew the reason For the burden that I bear Will persevere through all seasons Regardless of the scars I wear Hope to find that which I seek Continue searching high and low Wiping the tears from my cheeks Tomorrow will be a brighter day I know Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. That's the spirit! Rise to live and love another day. You never know... what you desire could be around the corner. Good writing, very graphic. I feel the anxiety and pain. |

Jana, Thanks!! Exactly what I plan to do...live and love another day. I hope it is around the corner and I am able to find it. Glad to hear I was able to convey those emotions so well. I can feel every word you have written here Lone Wolf. Your writing just keeps getting better SAD??? I suppose it depends on how you look at it. I choose to see the anticipation of the future in this piece, however , I can also see the sadness of it.
