If you feel you can get rid of me by pushing me aside Walking over my heart, Crushing my pride, Then you are dreadfuly mistaken Wrong as rain that stings your scalp Poison drops That somehow found their way to your mouth All you are made up of now is poison rain That you try to shake off on me I won't have it I won't have your green stemed drops of hate That want to win back my love that's Already streamed through the flood gates.. Floated past the asters, the gem stone, the glass slippers cutting slice, the shattered serving plate It's time to stop reaching It's time these waters seperate. |

Sounds like an "Amen" to me! Determined analysis is GOOD for our souls. |

Joy~ Sounds like 'moving on' is in action. Quite emphatically written. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Joy, Great piece. I relate to those feeling well. Leeting go is the hardest part I think....taking that first step. Good luck to you on your journey. I hope that happiness awaits you at the end.
