When I was only three I looked up to my dad
I said it sucks to be three and he said I was bad
He said cussing’s a sin he spanked me awful hard
Then he yelled at the TV,  “Ump you’re a retard!”
Dad once said: “Ain’t ain’t in the dictionary at all”
I said double negative he kicked me down the hall

Now let us regress on back to my babyhood
When you never knew if I would act maybe good
You hoped when I was born I’d have ten toes on my feet
And when I was walkin yuh cried your life was complete
The next day you got mad at me the house was a mess
You weren’t watching me and I was too young to confess

Now to the present that side trip in life’s circle
I’m sitting here clothed like Steve “my man” Urkel
You wanted my name in lights like talk show host fame
I’m half way there Daddy you’d say half butt was my name
Cuz here I sit reading this hoping it’ll linger
When you first found I’m a poet live on Jerry Springer

This stinks of humour... I am sorry...
I should have said "This breathes humour", but well, I am listening to a lot of Pink Floyd these days, and I am off my mind a bit...

Yet, I found this extremely well-written, well-constructed, well-well, and the classification of MR. Springer has been absolutely perfect... what a drag!!!

Hey nice and funny this one is truly, may your pen's ink flow creation many a wonderful such creations....

Regards, sudhir.
P.S. enjoy this one below as much I enjoyed your "yeehaw"

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.
Hey you, out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me?
Hey you, with your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home....

Walt -
Man!  I'm really GLAD,
That I'm not your mean ol' Dad.
Cuz if I was, I'd be red,
And shortly after....

You'd be DEAD! (Along with yer pal, Mr. Springer)  lol

you are truly a great read, Walt!
