The Grim-Reaper

The Grim-Reaper walks these halls
Luring quitters with his calls
Unsuspecting arrivals with no choice
Smell the staleness of his voice

His castle becomes your home
Unaware that you're there to roam
Walking in limbo you catch a whiff
Enter a room to see yourself lying-in stiff

Well all I can say is this is kinda grim, Reaper guy. The first verse gets kinda stale, and the second kinda stiff, you'd think it was about death or something...lol
and the whiff line has way too much smell to it for me. Get that ghoul outta my house.

WOW I inspired someone   This means that if you make money out of this poem I get 60% of the money, right!?!

lol

just kidding.

great poem especially loved the first verse

The Grim-Reaper walks these halls
Luring quitters with his calls
Unsuspecting arrivals with no choice
Smell the staleness of his voice.

"When the first living thing was created, I was there, waiting. And when the last living thing shall perish, my job will be done. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave."

Death

 ------------------------
"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? "
Douglas Adams.

"Here chewing your tail is joy"

Richey Edwards

"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time".

Baltimore Grotto

"Do not listen to a word I say
Just listen to what I can keep silent"

I'm spooked to say I found this quite hauntingly picturesque Insect ... I think I'll turn on a few lights now ... nicely done.

asleep maybe that stale voice will go away?
                           QUIET!! Someone's coming!! Hey! How
did you get on the other side of the door?
And open it!!! I'm outta here!!! WHERE
THE HELL IS THE WAY OUT OF THIS
                           CASTLE!!!?
