State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-05-28 11:58 PM

A year ago today
I took back my life
Thanks to all the prayers
of my family, my wife

Feeling ever stronger
as I stand before you now
Knowing that that I have control
That, through God, I am allowed

Today I celebrate a freedom
That most will never know
A kind of liberation
that gave back to me control

The control to choose
to live life day to day
Knowing you're just behind me
never to go away

To be continued....

This one is pretty much self explanatory
so I'll just say Thank you for reading

 All my love,
Jeffrey

I lie awake in a world filled with dreams,
but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep

The theme gets set ever so interesting with every few stanzas you put in...Jeffery and more positive...

Jeffery, I am glad that you have choosen to journey down the path you are now walking, it took a lot of courage and strength to make that decision. Well done, wonderful poem.

"Will you accuse me as I hide Behind these layers of disguise And the mirrors of my own happiness.I've loved the freedom of being inside
Need a new start and a different time
