The softest notes of nightingale, ...as gentle breath of dawn, Float in whisper on night's breeze, ...'mid songs of heaven's spawn. How sweet the music of the heart, ...doth echo truer far, Than madrigal's of Muses fair, ...sang from a distant star. Not a harp, nor zephyr heard, ...when dream of scented Rose, But softest note of nightingale, ...as bloom in my heart grows. [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 05-28-2000).] |

Mike~ No one perfumes the rose quite like you do. Simply fragrant with loveliness. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

The softest notes of nightingale, ...as gentle breath of dawn, Float in whisper on night's breeze, ...'mid songs of heaven's spawn. ------------ *sigh* this poem is exquisite, a jewel, perfect. take care, jm Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard. ~Janet Marie~ "What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly" ~Lao Tze Tao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |

I can smell the roses through the screen like those scratch and sniff stickers only much better. homer says "ummmm rose fresh" ------------------------ "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? I hereby bestow upon thee... the honorary title of.. "King of Roses"... You should write a book on the subject - No one makes a rose rise - rose raise - raise a rose?...like Mike... [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 05-29-2000).] |
