The Same Moon ~*Marge Tindal*~ We see the same moon with different faces Mine bright and airy Yours in dark places Mine waltzing slowly across Milky-Way sky Yours with cresting of tear-filled eye Come with me into the night share my moon of glowing light Out of the shadows of your dark moon sky The moon of lovers in wink of eye Let us dance 'neath the glow of the moon Chasing the shadows of your darkest gloom Out of the velvet sky of the night Dance now young lovers in the glowing moonlight On rapture of heart caught in surprise The longing in another's eyes ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
