Night's pallid hush ascends with gentle grace
Casting its soft, delicate glow over my love's gentle face
The star's quiet candlelight fills the night sky
And whispering on night's gentle wind, that crystalline sigh

Hand caresses your face with the moonlight
Loving your smile and making your eyes sing with delight
The stars reflecting like diamonds in your eyes
Your gentle, caring, beauty lovelier than the open skies

Our lips meet in passions touching spirit
The beating of our hearts fills the night, can you hear it?
Our eyes meet in that one glance
So glad that on this night, we've gotten this one chance

Night's pallid hush ascends with gentle grace
Casting its soft, delicate glow over my love's gentle face
The star's quiet candlelight fills the night sky
And whispering on night's gentle wind, that crystalline sigh

Dear Sven, a most enchanting account of such a  magical encounter. Your words brought me directly into the moment of which you spoke, and it was lovely beyond any that I might conjure...

Sven, I'm totally honored that you liked this line... You've done a wonderful job with it - totally different from my sonnet.. That's awesome... I should feed you the lines one at a time and see what you come up with..

Nah - I'll show you the sonnet now.. hehe..

This was truly beautiful.  I loved the soft flow as the whole poem just seem to dance in the breeze.

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.
