Is Life Fair? Seems so often I hear this said, Is Life Fair? I can say in my life, it has not always been fair. Then I think of how life has been fair to me. I have three beautiful daughters, I have a loving husband, I have the air I'm breathing, Is Life Fair? Still sometimes not> Sometimes the coldness of the past sets in, and I struggle to regain my identity that seems to want to leave me rather sudden. Sometimes nightmares come back and remind me that life is not always fair. Then I remind myself that today is today and yesterday is gone forever. Is life fair? Maybe life is fair, maybe it isn't but one thing we all share a common bond with is that we are alive! So I guess that means life is fair in a way we never looked at before. Sometimes I wonder if life is fair, thinking about how quickly it goes by, some die so young some live for a hundred years. Yet it seems as if life is so short still. So I guess I really need to live my life to the fullest, as it keeps going by day by day. How can one gain anything by destroying their bodies with alcohol or drugs. Life sometimes is not fair, but why should you give into something that will without a doubt put you in a oblivion of hell. Life after all is said and done is what I make it. Life is fair , maybe it's me that needs to regain my composure to my turmoil that sometimes overcomes me. Do I myself follow this road alone, no I can say without a doubt we all have struggles all have pains all have tears all have doubts . Yet we all face a common bond together, Life! Well, you certainly kade me think with this one...we all have to count our blessings  Some of us may have more than others, but we all have the blessing of life as you so well said All my love, Jeffrey I lie awake in a world filled with dreams, but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep |

thanks Tracie and Jeffrey, I do so often think of life. I guess it comes from my mom passing away at a very young age she was only 46. |

Is Life fair? that is a tough question. I think there is a balance. I think each bad part of life should be viewed as a challenge. I really enjoyed the poem, well written. Sometimes nightmares come back and remind me that life is not always fair. Then I remind myself that today is today and yesterday is gone forever.
