New Beginning It is night There is no wind There are no stars The world is motionless and dark In front of me I hold a candle Empty and lifeless it is I light the candle No longer is it lifeless The candle dances in the night Shining light on all that is near The light engulfs the night air Bringing all creatures together Bringing light into this once dark world Peace and tranquility fill the sky as a new life begins In my hand I hold not just a candle, but a new life The life that I hold is mine The life that I choose is mine alone The path that I follow, I follow alone For life is like the candle By itself it is lifeless and dark But once enlightened, it brings peace and unity to a once empty world By Necro Draconis |
