A Special Dedication Amy M. Kennedy this is a special dedication to a very special poet and friend of mine...Janet Marie. Jan I love ya girl! In my moments of weakness you keep me feeling strong When I feel lost, you reach out your hand When I feel like giving up, you push me to carry on If I fall down, you help me stand No matter where I go, no matter what I do Forever in my heart is where you will stay God brought you to me, somehow he knew That I needed a friend, someone who would never go away Though we've never met, I know that you care I want to reassure you that I do notice who you are No matter what happens, I'll always be there You say that I am the one who shines, well to me you are MY shining star Wanted to take a moment to express how I feel With you I don't have to pretend I can be who I am, I can be real And in this little poem all my love I do send ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |

WEll, ya got me with this one... wow...I think ya made me speechless, which is NO small feat.  THANK YOU!! you know there is no gift more precious to me... than the gift of a poem, as it truly comes from the heart. I am deeply touched by this Amy.
